Terms of Service

1. Overview & Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between your business entity ("Customer", "you", or "your") and DAVA Technology Ltd ("RetailOne", "we", "us", or "our"), regarding your access to and use of the RetailOne cloud point of sale, stock management, and invoicing software.

By booking a demo, signing a service proposal, logging into the platform, or paying a subscription fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Subscription Plans & Billing

RetailOne is provided on a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription model per user counter per month. Current pricing commitments are:

• Monthly Plan: 13,000 RWF / user / month (billed monthly as you go).
• Quarterly Plan (10% Discount): 11,700 RWF / user / month (35,100 RWF billed every 3 months).
• Half-Year Plan (15% Discount): 11,050 RWF / user / month (66,300 RWF billed every 6 months).
• Annual Plan (20% Discount · Best Value): 10,400 RWF / user / month (124,800 RWF billed annually).

All prices are denominated in Rwandan Francs (RWF). Official electronic invoices are provided for every billing cycle. Acceptable payment methods include MTN Mobile Money (MoMo Rwanda), Airtel Money, Credit/Debit cards, and direct bank transfer.

3. Cancellation Policy: Cancel Anytime With Zero Penalties

We believe in earning your trust every month. You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying our support desk via WhatsApp or email.

• No Lock-in Fees: There are no cancellation penalties, termination charges, or hidden administrative fees.
• Access Retention: Upon cancellation notice, your shop retains full active access until the end of your currently paid subscription period.
• Data Export on Departure: Before your account closes, you can export your entire product inventory, customer ledgers, and transaction history in CSV or Excel format at no additional cost.

4. Hardware Freedom & Customer Ownership

RetailOne operates as 100% hardware-agnostic web and mobile software.

• Complete Customer Ownership: You own all phones, tablets, laptops, ESC/POS thermal receipt printers, and barcode scanners used in your shops.
• Zero Hardware Lock-in: We never force you to purchase expensive proprietary terminals. If you choose to acquire printers or scanners through DAVA Technology, title transfers entirely to you upon payment.

5. Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Backups

We are committed to enterprise-grade availability for high-volume retail environments:

• Availability: We target 99.9% application uptime, excluding pre-announced off-peak maintenance windows.
• Support Response SLA: Our dedicated Kigali support desk responds to WhatsApp and email tickets within 2 working hours (Monday–Saturday 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM EAT).
• Automated Daily Backups: All sales, stock intake, and audit records are automatically backed up daily to redundant cloud storage.

6. Data Confidentiality & Proprietary Rights

You retain 100% exclusive ownership of all shop data. DAVA Technology acts solely as a data processor. We will never sell, lease, monetize, or use your sales numbers, wholesale supplier costs, customer phone numbers, or product catalogs for third-party advertising.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction: Republic of Rwanda

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
